Women are looking for genuine nice guys, but it can be hard to tell who's nice because every guy is "nice" to a beautiful woman.

I can't tell you how I hate the whole "nice guys never get the girl," trope. It's such self-indulgent bullshit. You know the thing about being "nice?" It's the same as being cool, fun, and smart or any other description you might want affixed to you.

You're not the one who gets to decide if you're nice.

The people observing you are the ones who get to decide.

And if you're a guy who's being sycophantic and manipulative to try to "get the girl," she can sense your motives and knows your niceness is conditional and that it's actually anything but nice. SHE knows that if you don't get what you want, you'll turn around and call her a bitch (whether aloud or in your head) or whine about how she's supposed to award her body to you because you were "nice," and SHE knows that kind of behavior is anything but nice.
