welllll, I started to define all the various sects and branches and then this became an article just about THAT. So basically I’m using anti-feminist as an umbrella term for any guy who like, “hates feminists.” They used to call themselves the "manosphere" but I'm not sure if they use that term anymore. They include red pill guys, pick up artists, MGTOWS, most incels, and probably other groups I don't know about since I don't follow that stuff anymore.

Should you decide to investigate, tread with care, a lot of it is really toxic and will mess with your head.

I guess some would also include people who believe in strict gender roles as antifeminists (I have no problem with those folks, myself, as long as they recognize it more as a personal choice just for them, not for all of society, and as long as they’re up front about it and don’t try to trick a partner into it).

When I first started dating that guy, I just assumed that everyone agreed with most of the basic ideas of feminism (HA! sweet summer child) because I’d been raised in coastal California and everyone I knew identified as a feminist.
