That's rad that you've mostly ridden your bike throughout your life. I had a friend in Taiwan who was 88 and still rode his bike everywhere. Keeps ya young!

I guess considerations about snow and ice don't occur to me because I've spent very little time in cold areas in my life. But you're right, that would make it very hard to ride a bike. I guess we'd just have to import all the women in cold areas to warmer areas. They could take the place of the men who disappeared!
