Thank you for summing this up in a line - this is the feeling I've had about keto, but I haven't been sure how to say it. I don't mind fasting and going into ketosis maybe once a week, tops, but doing it long-term feels wrong, and I think this is why. None of us know for sure what our ancestors were doing, but doesn't most data suggest that they ate carbs? Unprocessed, of course, but carbs none-the-less. If that's what they were doing, that's what we evolved for. Plus we need all those little mini (as opposed to macro) nutrients in fruits, veg, and grain, right?
Anyway, this was great a great read because I have an apoe4, but also nice because it looks like I'm doing a lot right already ;)
