Stop pretending to be something you're not, and embrace who you actually are. Don't deny what you are. Be the player, and be honest about it. It's the only way to self-respect.

But you won't do that. You would lose access to the sweet girls who are taken in by your false face. You wouldn't get to circulate in the circles you WANT to be in - the circles of honest, good people. You know enough to know they're better people to be around, so you pretend to be one of them so you can have access to their goodness. But you don't provide the same goodness in return.

They will always find out eventually.

Lying, cheating, stealing, but mostly lying...these are all responses to deep shame about who you really are. The only way you'll get over that shame is by being honest about who you really are. But you can't do that, can you? Then you wouldn't be able to take advantage of the people who aren't like you.
