So darn glad I'm not the only one. I've probably got a thousand dollars of useless merchandise lying around. The post office may as well be on mars.
On the swimsuit side of things...Whenever I'm expected to go swimming, I simply wear a sundress. I don't want to "take care of my bikini line," I don't want to spend $100 on a flimsy piece of nothing that won't flatter my body and will expose my dimpled butt cheeks if I take more than two steps. So - sundress with little shorts under it. I just wear it right into the water. I like how I look in a sundress, dry or wet, and it's fun when it flows around you in the water.
My friends say it's quirky and fun but I say it's one way to hold on to your sanity in an increasingly chaotic world.
(should mention I mostly only go to natural water swimming spots - ocean, lake, river - not sure they'd accept the sundress-as-swimsuit at a pool or water park)
