Also, this is my own pet peeve so I apologize for going off on it here, but it drives me nuts when men (or women) describe themselves as nice (especially in dating profiles).

You don't get to decide if you're "nice." The people around you are the ones who get to decide. You may very well be nice in their opinion, and if so, I congratulate you - but don't proclaim it about yourself.
