Perhaps I should write a post entitled "Thirty-Five, Married, Boring, Lonelier with their spouse than they would be without, Yes, that's normal, but No, it's not ideal."

I love being single. I'll be 40 next month. I've had lots of relationships, but guess what? I hated being a girlfriend, and I assume I'd hate being a wife even more. I see so much disfunction in modern married relationships. Single men suffer, it's true, they live shorter lives, make less money, are less healthy. Single women, on the other hand? The research says we do pretty well! Go ahead, google it: "Single women healthiest, happiest"

Read it and weep, sis!

As for other people's assumptions about me, fuck 'em! What do I care if they're misguided and confused and, quite frankly, codependent and think everyone should be?

Anyway, I wrote about my realization that I prefer to be single here: https://psiloveyou.xyz/how-i-realized-long-term-romantic-relationships-probably-arent-for-me-fdad5c24c71d
