Okay, so you’re saying if men disappeared, half of women would die. How many men do you think would die if women disappeared? Elders, anyone sick, and children would be the first to go if women disappeared, but you forget that if men disappeared, many other reasons for death would stop immediately (violent crime, wars, etc). Fewer people in the hospital if men were gone for sure, so a bunch of the female nurses could move on to other things.
I maintain that there would be mayhem if any half of the population disappeared. I can’t say for sure which would lead to more immediate deaths, but in the end, the world would be nicer if it were the men who went.
