No way! Did you live in Taipei? Kaoshiung? (I know I didn’t spell that right!)

I still have permanent residency and will likely return. I miss it a lot. But…well…it can be difficult socially, especially as a western woman there — I probably don’t have to explain that to you. Or maybe I should try. Most western guys think it’s hard there for women because of sour grapes — like we’re not happy because we don’t get as much attention. For me, that was a shock, but there were other factors that made it harder.
