Look, here's what I'm really saying, Lauri. Income has become, to a very large extent, uncoupled by "how hard people are working." People who are breaking down their bodies, exhausted, working very very hard, are often making barely enough to live. Do you think the billionaires of this country are working hard enough to break down their bodies? They may be "smarter" but that doesn't mean they should get to be billionaires off of the labor of others.

I read something recently, and I wish I could find it to link it here - but it basically said, "when we say 'eat the rich' we're not talking about you."

My guess is that you have a nice tech job…maybe a couple million in the bank. Good for you! I think that’s great! I’m sorry you’re being taxed to death!

The people we're complaining about are the billionaires who are getting rich by not paying their employees enough or giving them benefits.
