It makes me a little sad to hear it, but I also understand.

I think my dad, my brother, my sperm-donor \ prospective co-parent and so many men that I trust the most feel that way. They've been as much* victims of toxic masculinity as I have.

It's probably quite a small minority of older white men that does most of the damage. It's just power. Any group in power would do the same, I'm pretty convinced of that.

*or nearly as much - they haven't been sexually assaulted - but also live under the tyranny of "masculine" expectations.
