I have no words.

I am so sorry this happened to you, and especially to him, and though one part of me knows that police might just take the word of the other party with zero evidence, my whole soul rebels against it.

"Well he shouldn't have punched the guy," someone might say, but when you're used to no one standing up for you, when you're used to no one being on your side, you learn to punch.

And it's so scary how not having money can mean they'll take your freedom.
