I am! I've actually got a sperm-donor turned prospective co-parent, and he would NEVER say something like that to me.

That ex also said he mostly just wanted to have a baby because he was scared of losing me - whereas, without the romantic entanglement, I know my prospective co-parent is more interested in being a dad than keeping me around. He wants the child, not just me. I feel a LOT more comfortable with him as the dad!
