Hey, you too! It's nice to communicate with someone online who can tolerate a different opinion!

It is surprising that young women often seem to be the ones encouraging young men to get married, and not the other way around - I think that's the power of social conditioning. I know that a lot of people start from the supposition that a woman must be a loser if she doesn't get "picked" to get married. I try to live my life in such a way to disprove that - like, hey, look, I got picked by quite a few men, and I chose not to get married, and I'm really quite happy.

It took me a long time to overcome that social conditioning, get a good, solid look around me and say, 'wow, actually, that marriage thing doesn't look great to me, and I don't even enjoy being a girlfriend, so I might hate being a wife!" And then I found lots of research that backed up my observations.

But again, when marriage works, it looks great! So I hope everyone can find what works for them, including you, sis!
