A male friend of mine once reported that at an all-male party he attended, about 50% of the evening was spent ranking the women in our small community (Western expats in Asia) by attractiveness.

Never mind that none of those men were prizes in the looks department. None of us women were interested in dating any of them, but we never took it upon ourselves to RANK them by attractiveness and to spend half an evening doing it.

Whatever can be in these idiots' minds?
